We build your team, you create your future.
Our programme is intense but can be truly life changing. First up is our selection process, consisting of a series of interviews and, for those that make it though, attendance at our AllStartUp Weekend.
Then, for those that then join our incubation programme, we then find you a committed co-founder, and we'll help turn your excellent idea into a fully fledged company. Once that day arrives you'll officially become Demium Alumni, with continued access to our brilliant network of experts, partners and investors.
If you're highly driven and enthusiastic about making things happen for yourself, then we want to hear from you.
Fill out an application (at least two weeks before the AllStartup Weekend) and tell us about your background and the motivation behind the desire to start your own company. We're after remarkable individuals from all walks of life, who are ready to start forging their own paths.
Successful applicants will hear from a member of our Talent Team within a week of submission and invited for a series of interviews. This will give us the opportunity to talk more about your background, previous experience, suitability and commitment to starting your own company. We will do this either in person or via video-call.
As you can imagine, managing your own business is no easy task and nor is the path to get there. But just because it's tough doesn't mean it can't also be fun and hugely rewarding.
Our AllStartup Weekend provides a great opportunity for you to test your mettle in the fast-paced world of startups. In just three days (Friday to Sunday) you'll take part in essential workshops, such as learning how to formulate business plans and put them into action, form a core team and, with help from Demium mentors, put together a pitch. Sunday is showtime, when you put all your new-found skills to good use and pitch your business to the Demium panel. The winning team will be invited to join our six-month incubation programme. Don't worry if your team doesn't make it, as we'll also be keeping an eye out for particularly adept individuals over the course of the weekend, who will have another opportunity to build a team and present an idea in the first two weeks of the programme.
First thing Monday morning, after the AllStartup Weekend, the winning team and individuals will begin the incubation process.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with other brilliant and highly motivated minds. If you haven't found a co-founder by this point, don't panic. You can continue to work on your idea within the programme, utilising the wider Demium network, or opt to join another team.
Over the first two weeks you'll develop your business idea and then have an intensive schedule of training to help you achieve your goal as quickly and productively as possible. This includes lessons in strategy, business modelling, sales and marketing, developing a decent MVP to attract early investors, finding the right market, incorporation, gaining traction and funding.
There will also be Investor and Demo Days at which to pitch your business, but you'll always have the support of your team and our expert advisors, so you'll be more than prepared. And when you need to take a break from firing on all cylinders, there's a raft of activities to unwind with, including fitness, yoga, meditation and the all-important team lunches and after-work drinks.
Now you've got your proven business model and some traction, what happens next?
It’s time to fly!
But we won't boot you out of the nest unprepared. For those who didn’t incorporate or achieve seed funding, we will continue to support you until you reach this stage. Then, as part of Demium alumni, you’ll continue to receive support from us in both business and professional development, and you’ll have access to our investment, customer and corporate networks. You can even carry on working out of your local Demium office – or any other for that matter.

Starting a business is hard. We're not going to sugar-coat it, but we can try to make it that little bit easier. As the fastest growing startup incubator in Europe, Demium is well-equipped to help nurture your business, especially with our ever expanding network of mentors, partners and investors.
We'll always put you at the centre of everything we do, so as long as you're committed, there's no reason your business won't flourish.
Do I need a team or company before I join?
Nope. In fact, we select participants on an individual basis. If your application is successful, you’ll have the opportunity to meet other talented entrepreneurs with whom you can form a team.
Do I need to have an idea?
No you don’t. At Demium we focus on raw entrepreneurial talent and capabilities rather than the business idea. We believe that what really characterises an entrepreneur is the ability to move forward with an idea, execute it and overcome all the challenges that arise along the way.
Who decides on the idea?
Once the incubation programme begins, we analyse and discuss a range of business ideas and market trends in teams. The founding team will then decide what idea to progress with. It’s important that entrepreneurs identify with, and are passionate about, the idea they are going to develop.
What should I do if I have an idea?
Once you’re selected to participate in the incubation programme, you can propose your business idea for evaluation.
Can I be an entrepreneur and create a startup while I’m working another job?
In our view, without total dedication to the project it is very difficult to be successful and win the confidence of investors.
Who creates the teams?
At the All Startup Weekend, the candidates select their own team members. Once the incubation programme begins, Demium will suggest the ideal profiles to complete each team, but it is the founding team that makes the ultimate decisions. We have great success in forming teams at an early stage.
Does Demium invest money in projects?
There is no initial investment in the projects. We believe the best way to support you is by helping you achieve traction (with customers and revenue), therefore giving you the best opportunity to attract the right investment from the most suitable investors. However, we do also offer access to our investment network and help in the search for seed capital. We have partners from a wide range of investment funds. We’re proud to say that 100% of the startups we’ve incubated have received investment.
What are my obligations during the programme?
We require you to fulfill the weekly objectives agreed on with the incubation director. We also ask that you attend the fortnightly schedule of classes and activities designed to help you accelerate the growth of your startup.
Where does the incubation programme take place?
Those selected to join the incubation programme will do so in the city where the All Startup Weekend took place. During incubation you will have access to mentors and experts in other Demium locations and, post-incubation, you will have the right to access any of the Demium sites as you continue to grow your company.
What happens after the programme?
Your relationship with Demium continues, with a focus on achieving investment. The programme ends with the creation of a Board of Advisors that will continue supporting the team of entrepreneurs throughout the life of the startup. You’ll also continue to be part of the alumni community, and if you are expanding or moving your business to another market in which Demium has facilities, our teams on the ground there will be able to support you too.
What’s the earliest I could get investment?
This really depends on the individual startup. Some of our startups have achieved funding in a matter of weeks, while others can take a bit longer, but you’ll have ongoing support from the Demium team in securing investment throughout the life of your company.
